Innovative Card Mechanics
Whether you are playing PVP or PVE, we want to make sure that every match provide a complex, rewarding gameplay whilst staying simple as to not overwhelm new players.
Each player will have card slots for 6 minions and 4 support cards. Cards played cannot be played on their first turn (including spells which will take up a support slot), forcing players to think ahead and strategise more efficiently.
When creating the card mechanics, we looked at competitors and some of the main grievances of the players. Hence why, we are doing everything possible to ensure that each deck created will follow a control playstyle and “aggro” decks will never feature in the game.
Warrens will be game changers and will even change the entire board design.
Legendary cards with have full 3D attack animations with some having different animations depending on who they are attacking.
Epic PVE Storytelling
The Malazan Book of the Fallen series is a vast, in-depth and compelling series with a wide range of characters and entwining threads.
We wanted to do something no other digital card game has done and that was make players feel like they are not only watching a movie, but a playing a key part in it.
The PVE campaign will follow along with the books ensuring to stick closely with the source material.
Players will be treated with rich 4K HD animations along with in-game cinematics. All the while, fighting key characters to help the story unfold.

Marketplace
One of the biggest issues people have with card games, is the cost to keep on top of an ever evolving competitive environment with new cards or card changes.
To help tackle this and provide a more F2P friendly game, we decided to include a full marketplace where people can trade cards in-game (including PVE rewards), even when they are offline.
You can look for the card you want or create a listing. When creating a listing, you will choose the card you are looking for and then click which cards you are willing to trade for them.
Someone will come across your trade, see you have a card they want and if they are willing to trade, they can choose one of your cards you offered and trade.
You will then be notified when you come back online.
This way, people can have a much easier access to the cards they need without spending money.
